Official 2012 NBA Finals Preview

So here we are. 2 teams left, 2 All-World players, 2 legacies (1 making its start and the other seeking validation), but there can only be 1 winner.

These NBA Playoffs have been one wild ride, for the viewers as well as the teams involved. Although, if it has taught us anything it is that jumping to conclusions probably isn't the smartest thing to do. No lead is safe and that goes for leads in games as well as series leads. This series looks to be great one that we'll all enjoy, the hard part will be predicting a winner. But like JFK says, that's why we do it.

The Sixers Strike Back!

Like most people I thought Miami was gonna finish this sweep but those lowly Sixers still had hope despite never beating Miami this season they had hope. But seriously, though the Heat are gonna win this series so Heat fans dont get frantic and Sixers fans dont be silly. The Sixers put on for the Philly fans though, gotta respect that.

But my big question is: Why did the Heat go back to the giving Lebron the ball in late game situations? Like really? They have been giving Wade the ball since like February and IT HAS WORKED! But now all of the sudden in the PLAYOFFS for God's sake they stop doing that and revert back to the predictable "Lebron Iso at the top of the key" but the sky isnt falling and I like em to get it back together so no worries Heat fans its just one game, no worries.

And shout out to Lou Williams and Jrue Holiday for the Daggers at the end lol

INTERVIEW: Kobe Bryant - On Christmas Game w/ Heat, MJ, Retirement

Christmas Day is approaching fast and besides the obvious that means The Lakers and Heat will have their long-awaited duel for supremacy so to speak. But according to Kobe this game is no big deal. I also agree because even though its a big game, its a regular season game and carries little worth. Like Bryant says "We gotten rocked on Christmas and have won a championship and we've done the rocking and still won a championship" so the result means little in the big picture. But!! It would be soooo sweet to win. Because for the meantime they get the bragging rights.

Especially from my perspective, as a Laker fan who lives in Miami, I will have to hear it for some time. But last year the Cavs handed it to us TWICE but we were left laughing as they cried......TWICE. And dont be fooled by Kobe's downplaying of the game [ie Celtics Series] he cares, but isnt gonna let that distract him or his team.

And the MJ thing, thats gonna be wat it is forever. People wil always put him on this unreachable perch no matter how many titles Kobe wins or wat he does. I for one think Kobe is just as good as MJ and has some better qualities, but all in all I gotta choose Jordan just because, and this coming from a DIE-HARD Kobe fan, watever KB does its just a remix of wat Jordan did. The only way Kobe will surpass MJ is to win another championship or two in historic fashion and retire afterwards and then DIE. Hopefully he doesnt die, but death multiplies everything that was done while living and I think it will give him the slight edge because since everyone hates Kobe no one will give him credit while he's alive.

And on retirement, I dont think Kobe will be one of those 'Brett Favre type guys' who never wanna let go. I think he'll retire before he takes a dip in his skills. When his contract goes up Im thinkn that'll be the last of Kobe Bryant the Player, but lets not think about that. For now lets go get this 3peat.

LeBron's Mental Notes.....

Known as the tweet heard round' the world. To me it seems as if LeBron is getting the Obama treatment, which is nothing you can do or say will be right in people's eyes. But I see it as this, he chooses now to be taking mental notes when the great ones have been doing it since birth, I mean he wouldn't be saying this if he didn't have Finals MVP and a consensus All-Star to back him up. I just saying where was all this "killer-instinct" when he really needed it. Most say this is the Most MJ-like thing he's done in his entire career and I agree because it is said that Jordan used to make up things to get his self hyped up for the game. But this Summer turned LeBron from perhaps the most-liked NBA player to probably the most hated in a matter of months.

Bosh & Wade To The HEAT...who's next?

Earlier today, Chris Bosh and Dwayne Wade agree to sign with the Miami Heat. This is great if you're a heat fan because you got your guy plus one and maybe two if Lebron decides to come on down to South Beach.

Dwayne Wade To the Bulls?

Everyone's shouting Lebron-Wade-Bosh to the Heat, but they forget that Wade is also a free agent and hasn't guaranteed that he's coming back. So they thought they had everything and could ultimately leave with nothing as Chris Bosh and Dwayne Wade have their 2nd visit with Chicago. Sources from ESPN.com have said Wade is "leaning toward committing to the Bulls".

It makes sense because he's from there and lives there in the offseason. And multiple reports said Bosh joined in on Wade's meeting. Bosh and Wade also had dinner they talked about the pros and cons of playing for the Bulls versus the Heat. Also he tweeted this and said "it feels like someones missing" and he posted this pic:

Looks like Lebron's missing and the Bulls are gonna get this instant Dynasty and not the heat. A source said Wade is unclear how the Heat, who currently have just two players under contract, will be able to build a championship contender around him given salary-cap constraints. While the Heat have the money to bring in one more max player (and possibly a second if they do a sign-and-trade), the team will have to fill the rest of the roster with minimum salary players. The Bulls on the other hand, already have several key players including Derrick Rose and Joakim Noah in place. If the Bulls can work out a deal to ship Luol Deng's contract out of town, they would have the funds to add James or Bosh to the puzzle, too. But don't give up hope already Heat Fans, Pat Riley and the Heat's organization have a meeting with him and he has come out to say he wants to stay here so there's a chance. In other news, Steve Blake goes to the Lakers 4yr/$16 M, Darko Milicic signs to T-Wolves 4yr/$20 M, John Salmons re-signs to Bucks 5yr/$39 M along with Drew Gooden 5yr/$32 M, Rudy Gay re-signs with Grizzlies 5yr/$80 M, and Suns get Warrick and Fyre for 4yr/$18 M and 5yr/$30 M. So I guess Amare is really going to the Knicks who are offering him 5yr/$100 M. Stay tuned for more info and Keep it Taylor'd
